Amazon reimagined

  • PROJECT A:

    Simplified Navigation Menu:

Problem: The navigation menu on Amazon can feel overwhelming due to the sheer number of categories and subcategories.

Solution: Implement a more intuitive, collapsed, and context-sensitive navigation system that shows fewer categories initially, with more prominent links to popular sections. Offering a personalized navigation bar based on the user’s history could streamline their shopping experience.

  • PROJECT B:

    Better Content Discovery:

Problem: The homepage prioritizes Prime Originals, but it lacks personalized recommendations based on a user’s viewing habits.

Solution: Create a fully personalized homepage that curates content based on the user’s watch history, liked content, or reviews. A “For You” section should be central, with relevant new releases, shows, and movies based on interests.

  • PROJECT C:

    Unified Watchlist:

Problem: Watchlists are currently disorganized, and users can’t easily access their favorites across multiple devices.

Solution: Redesign the watchlist to allow for more granular organization (e.g., create lists for different genres or family members) and sync across all devices with ease. Offering “reminders” for new episodes or release dates could enhance engagement.
